View as Map

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

One of our hottest trainers, Erica Hood of Body by Simone, said it best: "There's nothing more thrilling to me than leading (and sweating) with a room full of people in the most ultimate dance party." If you, too, prefer getting your ass kicked with a smile, then it's a prime time to explore our city's many dance studios, offering everything from salsa to ballet to hip hop—our girl JJ Dancer's (pictured) speciality.

Check out our favorite spots in map form, and if you're looking for more ways to sweat, don't forget to hit up our lists for LA's best yoga/barre studios and star-frequented spots.
