Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

With our first-ever Beauty Week well under way, we're taking the opportunity to refresh our last best-of roundup. Whether you're seeking a one-stop shop that'll prettify you from head to toe or a specialized space that'll pamper just one part of your bod, we're rounded up 38 beauty boutiques, salons, and spas.

To make way for new additions like luxe shop Violet Grey and star-minded salon Enamel Diction, we've removed essential chop shops like Frédéric Fekkai and Hairroin Salon (they're already repped on our best hair salons list). Since DryBar's growing roster of blowout studios has got LA covered, we've replaced Blo with green beauty boutique Évolué. Lastly, we've swapped national skincare brand Kiehl's for local editor-faved Larchmont Beauty Center.

Don't see your faves on the list? Suggest 'em in the comments or hit up our tipline for consideration in the next round.
