It's been a surprisingly bone-chilling week in LA. And though summery temps should return this week, this recent cold-snap is a reminder that even in SoCal we need to be prepared for inclement weather.

On that note, we've rounded up 10 spots to hit up for all your outerwear needs. Whether you're a weather wimp looking for a knee-length puffer, a fashion-y type looking to invest in the perfect leather jacket or you're in the market for something classic, there are options here for you. Click through for our picks mapped out and, as always, if we've missed your favorite shop let us know about it in the comments.

The Rag & Bone guys are British, which means they've known some truly cold winters. Their new LA flagship is filled with proper fall/winter gear for men and women, including capes, leather-blocked coats, striped smoking jackets and herringbone blazers handwoven in Scotland.

Shelter Half

This concept shop is filled with all sorts of cool stuff, from leather pins by RTH to Olmay Home linen napkins. However, it makes this list due to its extensive selection of men's jackets and pea coats by Save Khaki, which are currently on major sale.
They've got the bases covered, from traditional wool pea and toggle coats to trenches, hunter jackets, bombers, quilted jackets and puffer vests.
Dare to dream. The expansive West Third boutique features a selection of sublime leather Simone moto and varsity jackets.
One of the best places to shop for not-too-expensive, on-trend styles. This location isn't stocked with all of the brand's heavier-weight coats, but does have a wide selection of toppers ideal for the SoCal climate.
