Brides-to-be enjoy a wealth of resources when it comes to wedding planning, from finding The Dress That Shall Be Worn Once to the best beautification spots that'll guarantee their made-up faces don't melt mid-ceremony. It's unfortunate that grooms should find themselves overlooked in the nuptial advice department—which is why we've enlisted the help of Montage Beverly Hills' in-house stylist Joseph Katz for our groom's grooming guide.

As the resident fashion expert at the luxe hotel—the only one in LA to offer such a service—the red carpet personality and men's accessories designer is the go-to guy for guests in need of everything from a head-to-toe look for an upcoming event to one-on-one retail therapy tours of Rodeo Drive. ("You don't even have to be a guest," Katz reveals. "It's the best-kept secret in LA!") From barber shops, men's manicure salons and more, find out Katz's favorite places to get pampered in LA, plus some of our own picks, after the jump.

The Art of Shaving

Joe says: "I really like [their] product line and you get the full treatment with the Royal Shave ($80). It starts with the pre-oil shave to prep the skin, then a warm shaving cream is applied, followed by a straight razor shave done with the grain of your beard, then a re-lather and a shave against the grain of your beard for closeness. Next, a hot towel infused with lemon essential oil [is applied], followed by an after-shave mask. The experience ends with a hydrating toner and after shave balm. You are ready to walk down the aisle in style!" [Photo: Westfield Century City]

Joe says: "Dr. Derek Jones is a top dermatologist in Beverly Hills and [offers] some additional rejuvenating skin treatments that look completely natural. I like his 20 or 30% salicylic peel. The peel gently rejuvenates skin that can improve dull or uneven skin tone and even helps reduce acne inflammation, fine lines and wrinkles while improving texture and clarity. [Dr. Jones] is also one of the top doctors for injectables like botox and the new Voluma. [His] consult is $300 which can be applied toward the treatment you choose." [Photo: Skin Care and Laser]
