It's been a hot minute since we've refreshed our Racked 38 beauty edition, and there's no better time than now to give our list a little facelift. Since our last roundup, we've seen plenty of new prettifying and pampering places pop up around town, from instant beautification services to head-to-toe concept shops. But like those dreaded yet much-needed blackhead-busting nose strips, it was time to get down and dirty—and while it definitely hurt, it felt oh-so-good to make way for our new faves.
This time around, we've swapped out celeb-faved vets like Andy LeCompte and Warren-Tricomi for hip up-and-comers like Assembly and The Well. Since Angelenos enjoy their fair share of natural rays, we've ditched the tanning salons and opted for a few more eco-friendly options, like Lush Cosmetics and quickie facial bar Face Haus. Without further ado (and in A to Z order), here are our top supply stores, salons, spas, scent spots and more to appease every beauty buff's budget and desires.
See something missing? As always, hit us up in the comments or email our tipline to submit suggestions for the next round.
