Here’s a New Way to Score Celebrity Closet Castoffs

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's often bittersweet to pore over mags and websites that detail the daily fashions of our favorite celebs; we love to see what they're wearing, and bummed to think we can't get our hands on the goods. Or can we?

Following in the footsteps of sites like Closet Rich and Walk In My Closet, new luxe online consignment shop Simone Sato manages to snatch designer styles — including Isabel Marant, The Row, and Balmain to name just a few — straight from the stars's closets. And better yet, you can shop the clothing, shoes, bags, and more for up to 90% off their retail price.

How does founder Simone Sato do it? The admitted fashion fiend has created strong relationships throughout Hollywood, so she's a trusted source for garments that need to find themselves a happy new home (as in, yours). Some current highlights from the recently-launched site include this Fendi 2Jours tote that's a ringer for the one Olivia Palermo has been spotted carrying and this Gucci bag we've seen previously clutched by Queen Bey.

Sato assures us she's not a fan of fakes, so all items listed on her site are totally authenticated. New merch is rolling in on the daily so we suggest hitting up the Simone Sato on the regular if you can't wait to get your hands on A-listers's second hand styles.
