If you were sorely disappointed by cult-cool label Miista's first-ever LA sample sale back in May, so was the brand, especially because most of its merch was held up in customs. The indie British shoe brand has returned to Downtown for a do-over, and after scoping out the goods late afternoon yesterday we can confirm that its LA reprise will be a hit among footwear fiends.
Although the cash-only sale's already several days in (it kicked off Monday), there's still quite a selection worth making the trip: this time around, it's fully-stocked with both sample and production styles from both Miista and its edgy sister line E8. (Last time, only the latter was delivered.)
We spotted a range of sizes (5 to 11) from past seasons (spring/summer and fall/winter '15 collections, plus a few from the spring/summer '16 line), including summer-ready espadrilles, buttery suede flatforms, patent leather heels, sleek slides, iridescent brogues, and much more, all going for $10 to $60 each. There's also a small selection of PVC fringe clutches and playful backpacks for $60 a pop.
Scroll through the gallery above for a peek at the merch and head over today through Saturday between 11am to 8pm daily; staff tells merch will be restocked each day and that there'll be a DJ in the house on Saturday to help the brand bid farewell to LA.
