A Holistic Beauty and Wellness Festival Pops Up in DTLA

We'll be the first to admit that sometimes, when picking out cosmetics or skincare, we go for sexy packaging first and neglect to read the ingredients. Once only belonging to those with sensitive skin, the practice of label-reading is going mainstream and we're starting to wise up about where our products come from, what goes into them, and how they impact the environment (not to mention our own bodies).

For one day only, the Love Beauty + Wellness Festival is opening up in DTLA, with a lineup of eco-friendly heavyweights on the speaker panel to educate women on the benefits of natural beauty. Expect sage advice on beauty rituals, non-toxic beauty, hormones, self-care, meditation, and nutrition, all with an eye toward cleaning up and cleaning out your wellness routine.

The festival features some of LA's most noteworthy wellness and green beauty gurus, including Shiva Rose, Zenbunni Biodynamic Chocolate, Agent Nateur, and Moon Juice, all focusing on bringing awareness to natural beauty and general health. Attendees can also shop for products at a special pop-up, mirroring the festival's online store, and tickets are available here for $99. Join the feel-good fun on Saturday, July 30th from 10:00am to 4:30pm.
