La Brea might be LA's high-end streetwear haven, but Melrose and Fairfax is where the the people go to kick back. Skate shoe kingpin Supra and pro boarder Chad Muska officially unveiled their latest collaboration at the cool streetwear intersection: a three-part concept shop that's welcoming sneakerheads right this minute.
Designed by the skateboard legend himself, the Melrose/Fairfax pop-up houses a hangout and area, a retail section, and Muska's art gallery and studio. Muska tells us he envisioned an inspiring gathering spot and event space for artists, designers, and other creatives; industrial-cool touches like solid concrete displays, iron and upcycled wood fixtures, and mid-century modern seating welcome shoppers and Supra friends alike.
The debut coincide with the re-release of Supra and Muska's iconic Skytop III, which are available in new hues and upgraded styles. In addition, the shop stocks exclusive tees that rep LA's streetwear mecca.
Supra x Muska's Melrose/Fairfax will hold court in the space now through Labor Day. Swing by daily from 11am to 6pm to see if the skater-artist-designer is in the house.
