Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The Dreslyn's summer warehouse sale kicks off right this minute in Downtown, which means you've got less than two hours to plot your early lunch getaway. We score an early peek at the merch last night and (as always) the shoe department is on point.
Lest you think that VIP shoppers snapped up all the good stuff first, we were the last ones out the door at yesterday's preview and can confirm that serious designer deals (up to 80% off!) are still abound — think avant-garde Newbark sandals for $53, One Teaspoon denim skirts for $30, Current/Elliott jeans for $89, and Shaina Mote blouses for $25, Theory tops for $80, and boho-luxe Koza bucket bags for $177, a suede Elizabeth and James bag for $119, to name just a few.
Note that there's a communal changing area, so come dressed appropriately (tight tank and leggings) if you're shy. Should you get famished, there'll be gratis WTRMLN water and popsicles for shoppers.
The sale's happening today and tomorrow from 10am to 5pm at mezzanine 4 at the Cooper Design Space; see more inside the two-day blowout in the gallery above and let us know in the comments if you scored big.
