This Watercolor Print One-Piece Is a Standout Poolside

Cali Dreamin ‘Aquarius’ one-piece in Cobalt Dip, $220

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As celebs like Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and pretty much all of the Kardashian/Jenner crew can attest to, one-piece swimsuits are just as cool and sexy as their itty-bitty bikini counterparts (sometimes even more so, we'd argue).

Enter LA-based brand Cali Dreaming's original art print suits, this indigo-dipped style in particular. We're not sure what we love most: the low plunging neckline and back (which more than make up for the parts the suit keeps covered up), the seamless design (clean edges mean no bulging bits), or the dreamy, watercolor vibe, which makes us think about deep blue bodies of water — which makes us crave a dip ASAP. Seriously though, we'll take a baby pool if we have to.

Whatever the aquatic setting, this suit is sure to be a stand-out amid other more skin-baring styles. And the custom print is so eye-catching, just slip a pair of jeans on once you're through soaking/sunbathing and — voila — it doubles as your fave new bodysuit. Perfect for our simple summer style mantra.
