Inside Dogeared’s Positivity-Promoting Jewelry Shop in Santa Monica

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After promoting positive vibes through its dainty gems for the past 25 years, Dogeared Jewelry has opened its first-ever boutique in Santa Monica. The LA-based (and certified B-Corp!) label took over a former vape shop for its sustainably-made flagship, which opens on Main Street today.

Covering 1,200 square feet, the boutique features street artist Colette Miller's massive pink angel wings in the back, a custom card station where shoppers can personalize their message and necklace (perfect for gift-giving, no?), and of course, Dogeared's full collection of inspiring accoutrements. In addition, the shop offers the Culver City-based brand's anti-bullying bag collab with Kind Campaign, plus its exclusive collection with Pehn Lehn.

Take a peek inside the eco-friendly boutique above and swing by this Saturday from 12 to 4pm and Sunday from 11am to 3pm for Dogeared's grand opening weekend festivities.
