Daniel Patrick’s New Sneakers Are So LA

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We've had our eye on Daniel Patrick since his first shop opened in DTLA three years ago; the minimal, slightly military look that pervades his clothing is so clutch that it quickly became a Hadid family favorite (oh, and Kylie Jenner likes to Snapchat while wearing a DP sweatshirt). Using materials sourced in LA, Daniel's collections are that perfect combo of hip hop and desert hikes, and always a high-end twist on both.

The streetwear designer will soon add a luxe line of footwear to his label, with the Roamer high tops dropping in four colorways on Friday in-store and Saturday online. All four colors (that's White, Black, Sand, and Desert Rose) are made of super soft suede and definitely adhere to his bare-boned approach to fashion while remaining majorly upscale. The Roamer retails for $495 and this Friday, July 22nd, the collection will be available to shop at the Melrose Avenue location.
