Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Back in April, we revealed that Cotton Citizen was bringing its cool knitwear to Melrose Place. Located in that buzzing alleyway off Alfred Street, the LA basics brand tells us its first brick-and-mortar boutique could open as early as the end of this month.

Sandwiched between Alfred Tea Room and soon-to-open Moon Juice, the flagship will offer the edgy loungewear label’s rotating selection of bestsellers in a sleek and futuristic environment. Interior design touches include wood paneling and carpeted flooring that’ll curve up and blend into the walls, while merch will be showcased in recessed shelving and built-in concrete fixtures.

Stay tuned for more!
