Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If your weekend to-do list involves shopping more mindfully, consider your Sunday plans made. From 10am to 5pm, the Good Weekend invades West Hollywood's soon-to-shutter French Marketplace for its first-ever do-gooder bazaar.
Presented by Bunch and non-profit For the Social Good (which is taking over the historic venue as its HQ), the marketplace promises merch from over 30 socially-conscious brands, including footwear and accessories from TOMS, loungewear and activewear by Good Hyouman, knitwear by Krochet Kids, globally-conscious goods from e-boutique Enrou, cute kids clothing from Olen Organic, and art from Wunderkid, to name just a few.
Plus, enjoy mid-spree grub from LA's favorite food trucks alongside live music from a lineup of local musicians. There'll be giveaways and raffles in the house, too — get updates as the event gets closer via its Facebook page here.
