Here's a fun fact about celebrity makeup artist Etienne Ortega: three years ago, Kim Kardashian discovered him on Instagram, and he's been a part of the Kardashian-Jenner glam squad ever since. In addition to working with the famous family, the latin talent also counts Christina Aguilera as a very loyal client, making Ortega one of the industry's most sough-after artists. Intrigued? On Saturday, July 16th from 4pm to 9pm, Ortega is set to host his first-ever "Essentials Workshop," taking place at Hubble Studio in Boyle Heights. During this one-day seminar, the superstar makeup artist will talk about his career, share his step-by-step techniques for a flawless face, create signature looks on the spot, and answer questions from the audience. After class, there will be a music-fueled cocktail hour where guests can meet Ortega in a fun, relaxed setting.
