Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you love all things flowers — from design to decor to DIY — get ready to fall in love with Floral Art LA. The beloved local company known for its mastery of botany has just opened a satellite retail location to complement its existing store in the same neighborhood.
"We've brought Floral Art to Platform to join a synergetic collection of boutique brands in a modern, architectural setting," explains Jennifer McGarigle, principal owner and designer of Floral Art. "It's also in close proximity to our 5,500-square-foot design studio around the corner in the Hayden Tract."
McGarigle also mentions to us that this new store will offer inspiring floral DIY workshops, arrangements and installation designs, as well as Floral Art's branded home furnishings and accessories line. Learn all about upcoming floral arrangement classes here (individual classes are $150 a pop), and swing by the space soon to elevate your bloom game.
