Yoga appreciation and lifestyle publication Yoga Journal has teamed up with Gaia to present the Live Be Yoga Tour, scheduled to travel the country for six months and document the modern spirit and practice of yoga in America. Attempting to statistically capture and understand the growing popularity of yoga (it's estimated that there are more than 35 million yoga practitioners in the US right now), the tour aims to fully explore the nature of yoga today, and how the practice and yoga lifestyle are transforming lives.
We really can't think of a better place for the Live Be Yoga tour to stop than our own backyard, and follow along on Instagram as they make stops in Las Vegas, San Diego, Portland, and Flint (who really needs the love and healing right now). Head to Electric Soul Yoga at 10:30am on Saturday, July 9th for a fun, relaxing class and a reception afterward with juice and music. The registration fee is $22 and can be paid at the door or here.
