Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As if Culver City's mixed-use shopping destination Platform wasn't already the coolest, they've recently added a pop-up summer workout series designed to get you in bikini-ready shape, but with an added emotional bonus. Here's how we imagine it proceeding: on your way to the class, stop at Blue Bottle for a cold brew, get in a great workout, and then top off your experience with a healthy lunch at Sweetgreen or a bit of shopping at Janessa Leone.

Regardless of how you spend the day, the Powerlines pop-up is a workout that taps into your physical and emotional strength to spark the mind, body, and spirit. Fusing functional training and regular cardio intervals with creative and expressive movement patterns, the routine is designed to tap into deeper spiritual channels to generate energy that typically remains buried.

The result is a dynamic fusion fitness routine that will break you out of any workout slump and reinvigorate your senses. Bring a yoga mat, leave your shoes off, and enjoy free parking for two hours in the Jen Stark Platform Parking Garage (that's the fabulous rainbow painted one). The class itself is above Soul Cycle in the 3rd Floor Lightbox, with tickets available for $20 here and here, and the next class open on Thursday at 6:30pm. Check out the rest of the summer schedule online here.
