The Fiercest Fashions, Cutest Kitties, and More From CatConLA

Over 15,000 cat-lovers gathered at DTLA's The Reef this weekend in celebration of their favorite furry friends. For its sophomore effort, CatConLA brought in more than 150 vendors — offering goods including litter box-hiding furniture, toys, customized illustrations, beds, and even jewelry made of deceased pet's ashes (yes, you read that correctly) — as well as interactive beauty stations like a beauty bar by Kat Von D Beautyand "caticure" manis, and a slew of honored guests including original Catwoman Julie Newmar and celeb cats Pudge, Nala, and Lil Bub.

Considering that the Petco and Hill's sponsored convention also introduced a fashion show this year, the guests's garb was positively cat-tastic, with some feline aficionados sporting wigs, faux fur, tails, ears, and clothing covered in kitty motifs. While that eye candy was tremendously entertaining, we couldn't keep ourselves away from the SPCALA's adoption lounge, where more than 60 attendees met their newest furry family members.

Check out the gallery to see some of our favorite merch from the event, as well as the guests whose feline fashions turned our head.
