After patiently waiting nearly a year, LA beauty buffs had to sit tight for just 24 more hours for Bobbi Brown's first standalone boutique on the West Coast. The celebrity makeup artist made her LA retail debut yesterday in Beverly Hills. (Original reports noted it opened Tuesday, but staff reveals a minor setback pushed the opening back one day.)
Located on S. Santa Monica Boulevard just steps away from Rodeo Drive, the former Yahoo! Beauty editor's shop offers Brown's full collection of cosmetics, skincare, beauty tools, and fragrance, plus exclusives like her cushion compact foundations (previously only available in Asia), a limited-edition brush set, her line of stylish sunnies, and copies of her beauty book, Pretty Powerful.
Shoppers will experience the beauty guru's full wellness-minded experience, too: the shop also houses a coffee and snack bar stocked with agave water and healthy munchies, makeup stations with phone chargers, a brow bar, and a full menu of concierge services, classes, and events.
Makeup mavens can enjoy 18 complimentary "how-tos", like tutorials on lipstick application, five-minute makeup, smokey eyes, and more to skincare 101 and sun-kissed glow tips. Additional services include brow shaping ($40), teen makeup ($50), bridal makeup ($75 for a trial and $200 for day of), and more; plus two-hour workshops on topics like ageless beauty, pro secrets, ($200 per sesh).
Bobbi Brown Beverly Hills is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
