Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A (virtual) bouquet of congrats goes out to former LA Times fashion critic Booth Moore, one of our go-to sources for LA retail commentary. We’ve been wondering where we’d be seeing the industry vet’s byline next, and it looks like she’s now helming the ship over at Pret-a-Reporter, as its parent publication Hollywood Reporter recently announced.

LA Observed previously noted that Moore — who was the local newspaper’s first fashion critic and was the co-founding editor of its luxury lifestyle-focused Image section — was among the longtime Times journalists to take a buyout last year (her husband and fellow fashion writer, Adam Tschorn remains at the paper).

Per THR, she’ll cover "ashion, luxury and entertainment for THR's print edition and also will head the Preta digital platform, including digital video content." Kudos, Booth!
