Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Recently we shared the news about Moved LA, a brand new movement class that utilizes concepts of contemporary dance to not only gets novices a unique workout, but encourages them to explore their body's creative potential in a totally judgement free zone.
We can't imagine a more apropos way to celebrate Monday's Summer Solstice than such an aforementioned experimental dance class. Unless, that is, you add making mandalas with Creative Collective LA to the mix. Or sipping wine. Luckily you can do all of those things to mark the beginning of the new season when Moved LA holds its next workshop at Little Tokyo's Show and Tell space.
For just $22 (grab a ticket here) you and a friend can partake in all those festivities, which start at 7:30pm. Wine, movement, and merriment (while getting fit)? A perfect setting to welcome summer.
