LA's fancy live/work/play meccas aren't going to decorate themselves, including all of those Downtown lifestyle dwellings. A trusted tipster tells us that local maker-loving West Elm is headed to very buzzing Broadway, not far from where charming boutique Angelo:Home recently shuttered.
Landing next door to LA designer Tarina Tarantino's Sparkle Factory, the stylish home furnishings retailer is expected to move into the ground floor that Broadway Palace. As our sister site Curbed notes, the residential complex will house "439 apartments and 20,000 square feet of commercial space" and is expected to open in 2017, so we're wondering if West Elm is also on track for an opening date around then.
We've reached out to the retailer for more details; stay tuned for more!
