Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you’re already hitting up The Grove for last-minute dad gifts, here’s another stop to add to your Father’s Day shopping itinerary. Cool Venice-based brand Buck Mason is bringing its affordable menswear staples to the outdoor mall starting tomorrow, and it won't be your ordinary curated pop-up shop.
Friday through Sunday, the cult-favorite (and previously online-only) label is parking its sleek '97 Bluebird school bus on the lawn. The Open Road mobile shop will offer Buck Mason’s entire line of American-made men’s wardrobe essentials, including super-soft Pima cotton tees ($28), chambray button-downs ($106 to $108), raw denim ($135 to $175), and more. Take a sneak peek at the too-cool-for-school wheels below.
