The Megaformer Founder’s First Fitness Studio Brings 25-Minute Workouts to LA

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Fitness fiends and Racked Fit Club regulars may be familiar with the Megaformer, that intense Lagree Fitness Method-powered machine known for delivering workouts that some have called "Pilates on crack." Given that stars like Alessandra Ambrosio, Britney Spears, and Kim Kardashian are all fans of the calorie-burning routine, we wouldn't be surprised if legendary founder Sebastien Lagree's first-ever studio is LA's next starry sweat sanctuary.

Open on La Cienega as of January, the 2,600-square-foot workout wonderland is the only studio that houses Lagree's new Supra machines, which pack the same high-intensity, low-impact workout offered by the French fitness mastermind's Megaformers in just 25 minutes. In addition, the space offers two fully-equipped bathrooms, locker rooms, and a fitness boutique stocking stylish workout apparel and accessories.

Ready to feel the burn? Single Supra classes are $18 (first sesh is $15) and five-class packages are $75; see the full schedule here and check out more pricing options here.
