Saint Laurent's Hedi Slimane era may be dunzo, but the Cali-devoted former creative director leaves one last memento of his reign at the luxury label's South Coast Plaza boutique. The French fashion house unveiled its renovated shop at the OC shopping center last week, and while the notoriously lens-shy brand's above images may not be any indication, we promise there really is merch to shop on the shelves.
Similar to that Rodeo Drive redo, the 5,500-square-foot space is SLP's very last store designed under LA-obsessed Slimane, who drew inspiration from France's minimalist movement Union des Artists Modernes — which translates to a mirrored and marbled monochrome wonderland featuring nickel-plated brass fixtures, quilted leather seating, and vintage furniture by René Herbst, Breuer, Prouvé, André Sornay, and other legendary modernists.
As far as merch, expect to find Saint Laurent's latest women's and men's clothing, footwear, and accessories, but you'll have to use your imagination or pay a visit to the store yourself.
Saint Laurent at South Coast Plaza is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 10am from 8pm, and Sunday from 11am from 6:30pm.
