If you're a fan of California's mystic hippie movement (a magical party in the canyons sounds pretty fantastic right about now), would love to try Amanda Chantal Bacon's controversial diet (more brain dust, please), and are always on the hunt for cool, transcendental gift ideas (who wouldn't want to receive an elixir made of "nighthawks at dusk in spring water"?), chances are that a crystal healing workshop is right up your alley.
This Sunday, June 5th, Azalea Lee is hosting another class at her Place 8 Healing headquarters in DTLA — Crystal 101 — which is "an intensive crash course on how to work with crystals metaphysically, in addition to learning about the basics related to selecting the right crystals for you," Lee explains. "Perfect for beginners or even self-confessed crystal aficionados, the workshop also covers everything from cleansing rituals to ways you can nurture your own personal crystal tool kit to ensure its beneficial healing properties are activated at their highest frequency."
If you can dig it, the class is from 1pm to 6pm, and tickets are $125. Yes, it's a bit pricier than last year's workshop, but this class will cover a wide range of crystal curriculum, including how they work, how to choose the right ones (not all crystals are created equal, guys), and how to cleanse them.
