Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
When you think of sensible footwear, the first styles that likely come to mind are sneakers, slides, slip-ons, and sandals. (No "s" left behind.) But what about moccasins? Although the traditional outdoor slipper first made popular by Native Americans may not be your go-to shoe yet, Rebecca Minkoff has designed a modern collection that may just work for your cool-girl wardrobe.
In collaboration with heritage shoe brand Minnetonka, the cute range is inspired by festival season and features fringe booties and boots, and classic moccasins, all tricked out with studs and rivets. Prices range from $98 to $245, and are available here and here, as well as Rebecca Minkoff stores, Saks, Bloomie's, Neiman's, and Nordstrom.
Now you can live every day like Fergie at Coachella in 2015:
