Trina Turk Created a Cute Collection Inspired by Disney's ‘Finding Dory’

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

LA's own Trina Turk has always looked to the California coast to influence her breezy, colorful, beach-ready line. Now the contemporary womenswear designer has combined her usual source of inspo with an unexpected one.

In celebration of Disney's upcoming animated feature Finding Dory, Turk recently released a capsule collection of swimwear, dresses, handbags, and accessories — for both grown ups and little ones — all designed with a stylized under-the-sea print that both nods to the soon-to-be box office hit, as well as '60s and '70s vintage styles.

While the film — a follow-up to 2003's Finding Nemo, in case you've been living under a rock — won't be in theaters until June 17th, you can shop Turk's collection now on her site and in her boutiques, through Disney's online shop, or in select stockists including Macy's. We've even pulled a few of our faves from the collection to share — including a cute bikini for you and some pint-sized trunks for your little man — along with the links to buy right this second.
