Global makeup mavens may have done a double take during a recent visit to K-Town's beauty scene. As our sister site revealed last month, Korean skincare sanctuary Amore Pacific — often dubbed Asia's answer to Estée Lauder — has scored a fashionable facelift in the form of Aritaum, a new chain that's slowly taking over its North American shops.
The bright and modern refresh has already arrived at Amore's LA-area outposts in Koreatown Plaza, Monterey Park, Buena Park, and San Gabriel's Focus Plaza. As far as the goods, expect to find an expanded range of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty tools from brands under the Amore umbrella, like science-backed line Iope, Target-stocked brand Laneige (known for its water sleeping masks), "Korean wisdom"-inspired Hanyul, tween-focused line Mamonde, and holistic label Sulwhasoo.
Aritaum's still rolling out its stylish makeovers throughout its SoCal locations, including three in K-Town, three in San Gabriel Valley, and one in Orange County; check out the retailer's site here to see if your local shop has scored its upgrade.
