Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

From the Aussies to Londoners, Venice has become a go-to launching pad for cool international imports. The latest to set foot in the coastal nabe is Le Magazyn, a new lifestyle boutique stocking mindfully-made merch by Brazilian talents.

Landing just a hop and a skip away from Abbot Kinney at Brooks and Pacific Avenues (across the way from cool men's shop General Admission), the boutique and art gallery features handmade clothing, footwear, accessories, jewelry, home furnishings, art, and decor from Brazil-bred artisans, including a few who now call Cali home. São Paulo-bred shopkeep Ana Kozak notes that "through socially conscious purchasing, we will know how and where each product is produced."

Le Magazyn is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Monday by appointment.
