After first pedaling its tech-powered bikes into LA three years ago, Flywheel is set to open its fourth hot trainer breeding ground in our city's Silicon Beach this summer. The fast-expanding indoor cycling chain joins Playa Vista lifestyle center Runway in mid-July, bringing with it a new rave-inspired vibe to its stadium-style classes.
On top of offering its signature trackable workouts (those tech packs reveal your speed, resistance, level, and total output), complimentary filtered water, cycling shoes, and towel service, Flywheel's Silicon Beach 2.0 space will include colorful LED lighting that can be controlled by the instructor. The fitness chain is also refreshing its website and app, allowing riders to auto-book classes, receive class recommendations based on your stats and location, learn more about their fearless teachers (like their fave tunes and teaching styles), "favorite" instructors, and more.
Stay tuned for the studio's precise opening date and more.
