The Best Street Style Looks From Sunday's Melrose Trading Post

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Every Sunday from 9am-5pm (rain or shine), the open-air marketplace Melrose Trading Post takes over the parking lot of the Fairfax High School (fun fact: your $3 admission fee goes to benefit the high school) with tons of vendors selling antiques, furniture, vintage clothing, and tons of accessories.

With such a huge offering of cool wares, we knew there would be lots of not just cool tchotchkes, but awesome vintage finds (there were tons of Dooney & Bourke bags, Coach carryalls, and leather jackets). Where there are cool vintage finds, there are hot street style looks, and the shoppers definitely put on their Sunday best for yesterday's market.

We scouted out the best looks and the neatest gifts (candles for days, you guys) and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of organic products being offered, the serious LA artisans, and the kick ass outfits. LA's got it going on.
