Considering the popularity of easy-breezy, summery slip-ons (Beatrice Valenzuela's version were spotted on so many cool girls at last weekend's Echo Park Craft Fair and shoppers went crazy for Soludos's styles when its espadrille-toting truck pulled into The Grove in early March) it seems like the place to be—literally—right now is stylish staycation spot Hotel Covell's rooftop deck where NYC-based brand Sabah is having a two-day pop-up shop.
Last year the handmade-in-Turkey leather footwear made its LA debut when the label's founder Mickey Ashmore (aka The Sabah Dealer) brought a load of his modernized slip-ons to WeHo's RTH and now the eastside is getting a little love from 3pm to 9pm today and 12pm to 5pm. In addition to shopping the summer-ready shoes at the chic hotel, you can sip brew from Golden Road Brewery and chill to tunes spun on vinyl.
