Ten years after debuting her Cali girl essentials, Rory Beca is shuttering her eponymous label. Known for her colorful silk staples beloved by celebrities and blogstars alike, the Santa Monica-based designer is giving her brand a grand send-off with a final farewell sale next week.

"We are a self-financed, family-owned company and it is very difficult to be in the contemporary market without big financing behind you. I am also really happy because it has been a huge success and we have built a brand that customers really love and trust," Beca tells us. "I do have two kids but not ready to be a stay-at-home mom. Not sure what I am doing next but I am excited for another adventure."

Just as bummed that the brand is dunzo? Bid adieu to Beca's label next Thursday, May 19th and Friday, May 20th (10am to 4pm) at DTLA's historic Ninth and Broadway Building (suite 606). The two-day blowout will feature major markdowns on Beca's feminine tops, rompers, dresses, and more, plus pieces from her vintage archives.
