Downtowners officially never have to travel west. In addition to tons of retail options, the neighborhood now has its own Whole Foods, SoulCycle, and—soon—a celebrity-crazed hair salon. Next up: an Apple Store.
Our sister site Curbed reports that the savvy tech company has set its sights on Downtown's historic Tower Theater, and "the deal is basically sealed." Although the lease has yet to be signed, sources say that Apple will indeed be taking over the 7,500-square-foot space.
We curious to see how Apple will renovate the iconically vintage theater while still honoring its historic past.
