HOLLYWOOD—Learn how to optimize the energy in your space and make room for positive things with a lesson in Feng Shui at Narrative Space (732 N Harvard Boulevard) hosted by expert Laura Carrillo. The workshop will help to guide you through retrograde season and refresh and revive your living or working space. Scheduled for Saturday at 2pm, space will be limited, so definitely RSVP here to secure a spot. The ticket price is $25 at the door.

SILVER LAKE—Hip nightlife hot spot Tenants of The Trees (2808 Hyperion Avenue) plays host to the launch party for avant-garde, female-centric printed journal Object Journal this Sunday from 8pm-2am. The journal is a space for contributors to provide and share stories about momentous women as a means of correlating a woman with a positive memory to share and enhance the power of female kindness, strength, and potency. The first 200 guests will receive a free copy, and you can RSVP here. Oh yeah, and expect plenty of wine and music.
