Now that Culver City is busy tapping it back, SoulCycle (which is now minus its founders) is steering its SoCal expansion towards the 101. The Kardashian- and Beckham-beloved indoor cycling chain is bringing its buttercup yellow bikes and workouts by candelight to Westlake Village and Calabasas this spring and summer, respectively.
SoulCycle's Westlake Plaza and Center studio (confusingly considered part of Thousand Oaks, but whatevs) will cover 3,094 square feet and house 56 bikes. Over in Calabasas, SoulCycle is also bringing 56 bikes to new luxury mixed-use development Avanti. Both studios will offer a lifestyle boutique stocked with the fitness brand's activewear and accessories, plus full women's and men's locker rooms with showers and bathrooms.
Oh, and about that DTLA studio: Although it was set to arrive last month, SoulCycle tells us the opening has been delayed to sometime next week.
