Thrift shopping at Goodwill is no doubt a lesson in expert scavenger hunting, but its next event will be on another level. If you thought the non profit org's insane vintage and home goods blowouts were something, you ain't seen nothin' yet: This year marks the non profit organization's 100-year anniversary, and it's toasting a century of do-gooding with a statewide blowout this weekend.
This Saturday (9am to 2pm) and Sunday (10am to 3pm), at all of the retailer's 81 locations (including those upscale boutiques), the first 100 shoppers in line score a $10 voucher for a future purchase. In addition, 100 free items will be hidden throughout each store on both days, and select items—including women's, men's, and children's clothing and accessories, books, and more—will be marked down to $1. Good luck!
