Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Two weeks ago we let you know to mark your calendars for Artisanal LA's spring show, and now it's nigh time. The biannual bizarre specializing in food, wares, and other products by indie makers is back at DTLA's The Reef this Saturday and Sunday (11am-6pm) in the second floor Magic Box.
Tasty treats—like those from Little Spoon Frozen Pudding (we know!) and Proper's Pickle—are one of our favorite reasons to head to the event, but there's also plenty of options for shopping beauty booty like organic coffee body scrubs by Cali Scrubs (a must for the short shorts that will be busting out of our closet soon) and clothing including Blossom Vintage's curated selection. DIY lovers will also be able to crash courses on making bone broth, pressing flowers, crafting floral crowns, and more.
Purchase tickets in advance for $10 (or $15 for both days) here, or pay $15 at the door. We suggest coming hungry.
