In the words of A$AP Ferg, Kourtney Kardashian's body is "on a new level." Not having to deal with Scott Disick's shenanigans has allowed the health-minded reality star to focus on her wellbeing, which has in turn transformed her into a rising fitness star. Although Kourt can be credited for her own discipline and motivation, she owes her insane new physique to Don Brooks—aka "DB Donamatrix"—a fitness and lifestyle coach who also owns the Don-A-Matrix Training studio on Melrose.
Following in the footsteps of herself Khloe, Kourtney has been working with DB—whose client roster ranges from Fergie to Kanye West—since last year, and religiously follows his "sports game" inspired method. The trainer revealed a taste of Kourtney's workout routine to E! last summer: "The plank is a favorite, but we take it to another level opening and closing the legs like scissors while at the same time raising and dropping the hips! So not only are you strengthening the core but also timing the hips, thighs and waist. [We also do] the trunk twist along with a back row using the bands. The benefit of this exercise will give you flat abs and coke bottle obliques while removing those fat handles from the back and arms."
Although Kourtney has the luxury of training with DB in her at-home gym, swing by Don-A-Matrix Melrose soon to see what all the hype is about.
