Cute as it may be, a 1972 Volkswagen Bus isn't exactly the most spacious location for a clothing boutique, but for Coast by Coast, running a business out of this roving space just means inventory is that much more curated. Now the nomadic lifestyle shop, which has previously offered select goods from brands like Earth Tu Face, Minimale Animale, and Mara Hoffman on its cross-country treks, has teamed up with casual-luxe experts Lou and Grey to take the brand's summer essentials on tour.
The road trip, which will be making stops in Portland, Chicago, Montauk, and NYC, kicks off with a weekend-long stint in Pasadena (at the Colorado Boulevard storefront) this Friday through Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Before heading out of SoCal, the bus will also be taking the shopping party to the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, conveniently coinciding with nearby Coachella's opening weekend April 15th-17th. Shoppers will be able to stock up on Lou and Grey's latest releases (so new, they're not yet available online) like effortless cotton t-shirt dresses and maxis, breezy shorts, and coverup-perfect pullovers.
