Here's a First Look at H&M's Colorful Coachella 2016 Tent

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As mentioned, H&M is officially sponsoring the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival for its seventh year. To celebrate the long-running partnership, the Swedish retailer is set to host a vibrant installation on the festival grounds titled "Reborn" that will allow festivalgoers to "take a journey through a colorful desert landscape" while they interact with immersive video sets, create dreamy imagery to share on social media, and of course, shop. We have the very first look at what that space will look like.

The "Reborn" H&M Desert Vibes experience will be housed in a 40 by 80 foot tent and will feature tons of Instagram-worthy activations—including a digital photo booth with a 360-degree desert scene—as well as eco-friendly elements, like a water bottle refilling station. And if you're not feeling your festival look or simply need some retail therapy in-between Coachella performances, the tent will also offer an H&M Loves Coachella pop-up shop, filled with all the looks Hailey Baldwin is wearing in the collection's lookbook.

Check out exclusive renderings of the tent above, and visit "Reborn" both Coachella weekends during festival hours.
