SILVER LAKE—Celebrate the two-year anniversary of perennial favorite artsy craftsy destination Los Angeles County Store (4333 Sunset Boulevard) with a feel-good month of events, starting with a sumptuous apothecary trunk show from 12pm-2pm on Saturday featuring Earth Alchemy. On Sunday, there's also an in-store shopping party from 12pm-4pm. Seven amazing LA-based makers will be joining the day of shopping, sipping, snacking, and fun, featuring jewelry by Androgyny Design, apothecary by Bare Bones Body, accessories by Black & Jane, housewares and toys by Felt Flanerie, bags by Gij Vegan, candles by Lucy's Cabin, and lavender eye pillows by Phupho Pillows.

BRENTWOOD—There's a new blow dry bar in town, just in time for summer party season. This weekend, head to Blo (11729 Barrington Court) to enjoy three days of $30 blowouts and deals, starting today from 9am-5pm, tomorrow from 9am-5pm, and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Blo encourages you to make an appointment ahead of time, so get on the website and book a time slot to ensure that you can be accommodated.

SILVER LAKE—If you're looking for something special to do ahead of Mother's Day, stop by Shinola (3515 Sunset Boulevard) for a pop-up featuring Valleybrink Road on Sunday from 12pm-3pm. You can expect amazing gift boxes curated by Barrett Prendergast, who will be crafting them in-store and would make a perfect present for mom. If you'd like to attend, send an email to RSVP_LA@Shinola.com.

BEVERLY HILLS—Even if you're not shopping for a wedding gown, hit up Anthropologie's (211 S Beverly Drive) BHLDN shop this Sunday from 12pm-3pm for a special "sip and see" featuring the latest gown collection, and live models in a selection of mother and event dresses. If you're getting married, take your mom with you to sip champagne and get her feedback on not only your dress, but her dress as well (if you want her feedback). Sweet & Saucy Shop will be providing snacks and you can get a lesson in floral arrangements from Fleurish.
