Shinola Collab With Skateboarder Natas Kaupas; WeHo Design District and Parachute Market's Street Fair

VENICEShinola Detroit's (1623 Abbot Kinney Boulevard) latest outpost on Abbot Kinney is off and running with tons of cool merch and collaborations. This Saturday from 3-6pm, Shinola unveils its latest collab with iconic skateboarder Natas Kaupas. Shinola and Natas Kaupas will launch a limited run of 100 American-made skateboard decks featuring original artwork and autographs by Natas, who parlayed his artistic talents into several graphic design and marketing ventures in the industry, eventually starting his own board company. The collection launches exclusively at Shinola Venice and online, and Natas will be in-store customizing gifts for each skateboard purchase from 3-5pm. Later, the celebration continues with a performance by PAPA in the Brig parking lot.

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Nothing beats the excitement of a fashion street takeover and pop-up marketplace bazaar, especially when it happens in one of the coolest spots in LA. This Saturday, head to the strip of N Almont Drive between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard that constitutes the West Hollywood Design District for an awesome street fair collab with Parachute Market. The design fair will honor two historic and influential design movements in SoCal: European-inspired Hollywood glamour and California Modernism. Expect music, libations, and good old-fashioned shopping from 11am-5pm, with more event details and a full list of participating vendors available here.
