DOWNTOWN—With so many pop-up yoga events in LA, it's hard to know which ones are worth the sweat. Definitely join Grip The Mat yoga masters Christy Skarulis and Ashley Braun for a pop-up yoga session at hip studio and production space The Lazarus Experience (224 E 11th Street) for one hour of fun and interactive flow yoga followed by an after-party filled with wine and swag. The yoga and vino start flowing tomorrow from 8-10pm, and you can snag tickets here starting at $25.

HOLLYWOOD—Known for their incredible series of talks and artist collabs, The Standard (8300 Sunset Boulevard) brings another night of poetic readings with "Poetic Purpose is Lyrical," intended to explore new lyrical works by poets Lani Trock, Mandy Kahn, and Francis Parrilli, hosted by Jacqueline Suskin. Cocktail mavericks Alma have also teamed up with The Standard to provide special cocktails created by each poet. Be there on Thursday from 7-9pm, and make sure to RSVP here.
