Platform is at it again. Following tons of exciting retail announcements that include Linda Farrow, Janessa Leone, Aesop, and possibly Reformation, the Culver City lifestyle center at Hayden Tract is set to score a conscious beauty mecca that East Coast cool girls already have on speed dial.
Opening September 2016, Tenoverten's debut West Coast salon will feature full nail services—including pedicures and nail art!—as well as all-natural body waxing, brow shaping and tinting. Nail service pricing will range from $15 for a quickie manicure on a walnut-based manicure table to $40 for a signature pedicure on a custom-designed pedicure chair. Expect an Instagram-worthy experience.
"Launching a salon in Los Angeles was a natural next step for us seeing as we manufacture all of our tenoverten polishes and nail care products in California," explains tenoverten co-founder Nadine Abramcyk. "LA also represents a place where exciting things are happening in all types of businesses, particularly in the wellness arena. With our natural approach to beauty we think tenoverten will be well-received."
On the subject of wellness, Abramcyk adds that her team elevates the concept of the neighborhood nail salon by using safer products from start to finish, increasing ventilation for cleaner air and maintaining the highest standards for both hygiene and customer service. "We only do natural nails as we believe in long term nail health but have fun doing it," she explains. "We can still pull off some killer nail art using our namesake polish line that is entirely 8-free."
