We once had a hunch that DTLA's Apolis was headed to the OC, and we weren't completely wrong. Cool concept shop Alchemy Works opened its second outpost at Lido Marina Village over the weekend, kicking off the buzzy development's fashionable upgrade.
Dubbed Harbor House, husband-and-wife co-founders Raan (one-half of the brother duo behind Apolis) and Linsday Parton transformed a charming 1940s-built boardwalk home into a sleek lifestyle boutique and gallery with a coastal-cool twist. The 1,300-square-foot space stocks women's and men's clothing, jewelry, footwear, and accessories alongside home goods, art, and more from brands both local and global.
The store is also home to the Warby Parker Map Room, which features the affordable, one-for-one eyewear brand's retro opticals and sunnies in a maritime-inspired setting. Another room features menswear by Apolis and a permanent installation of the brand's traveling Nomad Market.
Above, tour the store and learn more about the merch in the gallery above.
Monday through Thursday 11am to 7pm and Friday through Sunday 10am to 8pm.
