Admittedly, we Angelenos can be seriously spoiled babies when it comes to the weather. Case in point, when storms were a-brewing yesterday and the sun—temporarily—went down for a nap behind a cloud, all we wanted was a cozy-ass sweatshirt to hunker down in while indulging in a Vanderpump Rules marathon (how else could we gear up for the new episode?).
As loungewear becomes increasingly acceptable—and in fact quite cool—to wear even when you're not just spending some QT on the couch, we're constantly hunting for especially rad sweats to wear around town. Some notable recent examples include Reformation's Cindy Crawford sweatshirt, Rachel Antonoff's Uterus sweatshirt, and the Beyoncé-faved (as seen in her epic 7/11 vid) Kale sweatshirt by Sub Urban Riot, the local brand that also just released our latest leisure-wear obsession: this Coastal sweatshirt.
Perfect for repping the Golden state in super-chill fashion, this comfy, LA-made staple is exactly what we want to wear whether we're cruising the coastline during this week's slightly cooler temps, staying warm en route to the gym, or catching up with our current TV addictions en casa.
